Applications are invited to work on an EPSRC funded research project. The
post holder will work with a team of colleagues in Information Systems and
Semiotics. This project will focus on investigating and re-engineering the
legacy systems to support business changes.
Applicants should be well qualified in Computing Science. Possession of a
research degree is essential and understanding of business processes is
desirable. Applicants not in possession of a research degree but with
substantial working experience in IT and business, who can demonstrate a
strong research ability will also be considered.
The post is available from 1 September 1997 for three years. Commencing
salary range: 14,235 - 18,724 English Pounds per annum, depending on
experience and qualifications.
